Pyros is a continent, set in the fictional world of The Erde Chronicles. The word Pyros itself is Latin, meaning "fire", which clearly implies the element of the Salamanders.
Geography[]
To the southern region of Pyros, grassy plains dominate much of the areas. To the east, jagged mountain ranges stretch to great lengths, acting as a natural barrier from one part of the continent to the next. To the north, there are bushels of lush forests, teeming with dozens of animals, plants, another forms of wildlife. A fair distance away, there is a strait connecting to a large desert, surrounded by oceans on either side.
